What is a WordCamp? Well as WordCamp.org says WordCamps are
WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Everyone from casual users to core developers participate, share ideas, and get to know each other.
You may see an “Informal community-organized” whatever. What I see is a way to meet more WordPress users who you can offer to write guest posts for–improving your SEO–and increasing your sites audience. Also a way to get others to wrote guests posts for you, saving you the time of writing an article, and helping another author.
You can also find people who write about things that interest you, or may help you. Think about it: You have more content to read, you can get more readers, you may get some subs, some likes, and quite possibly a new friend.
Now you may not know what SEO is, or where you can find a WordCamp, but don’t worry. There’s over 2,000 WprdCamps every year, and you can always check the schedule by going to WordCamp.org. For more info about WordCamps you can check out the WordCamp.org menu down below for some quick links.
